The goal of this assessment is to provide agencies with insight into key areas that increase the likelihood of success when implementing and maintaining technology. The focus areas of the assessment — resilience, data security, business continuity, and management of vendors, contracts, and equipment — are not specific to a particular type of transit technology or to a specific type of transit. Rather, they are meant to shine a light on the important yet unglamorous and often overlooked foundations that help keep your systems, and ultimately your transit services, running smoothly when things go awry.
